Birthday

In 2 hours I turn 24. Ugh... and when I wake up, it's a 12 hour shift, then back to bed. Whoo.

So I'm trying to app to grad school. Some time next week on one of my off days, I'm going to try to contact an old professor and talk to him about getting some help getting admitted to the grad program. Wish me luck. Hell... getting in would be a good enough present for me this year. Hear that Murphy? Rolling all my dice for this one and burning my permanent Karma pool for a couple of successes!

Harpy Burpday. Rejoice in the fact that you're a spry and sprightly twenty-four, and not an old bag of twenty-seven (like me).. or even older. The kids don't develop any more respect for you, so make it count now.

Good luck spitting in ole Murphy's eye. You want to watch how you blow those fate points though.. did we ever tell you the story of the guy in our group who kept using fate poins..?
